About Me:

Welcome to Restoring Relationships, LLC!

Hello! My name is Rachel Stiff, and I officially began Restoring Relationships LLC in 2020! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Life and Health Coach! I am also a writer hoping to be published some day and a speaker! As an ENFP, with an Ennegram 2w3, and an influencer, my love for and faith in God, my passion is for making an impact in the world by helping one day at a time:) I LOVE living in the beautiful and majestic foothills of the Rocky Mountains while having the sacred privilege of helping people heal from past issues, make healthy changes in their lives and relationships, and face fears that can be holding them back from the life they want to live.

Originally from a suburb outside the metro area of Kansas City on the Kansas side, my roots are definitely from there and CO has been my home for the past 14 years. Just like everyone else, I have my own story that involves pain, grief, hardships, and also a healing journey. I am very passionate about therapists and coaches making sure they "practice what they preach" and stay healthy as there's an accountability to what we do! A few things I enjoy are: spending time with family and friends, journaling gratitude daily, writing, spending time outdoors here, singing, traveling, random and fun "firsts" new experiences, talking lol, learning, laughter, and enjoying life each day. I did not always know that I wanted to become a therapist and a coach. Growing up, I wanted be a famous singer and work with animals somehow lol! I performed through the years on stage with singing and acting. After completing my bachelor's degree and going overseas for the third time (Guatemala as a child), Europe, and then East Asia, upon returning to work with teens and families in foster care, I realized that working with people is what I wanted to do and there was such purpose and calling in it. I had a fantastic supervisor at my job during this time who greatly encouraged and believed in me to do the rigorous work of the MFT graduate school program. I am forever grateful to have been introduced to this program as it was truly challenging and life changing!

We all have our own story, want to be heard, seen, valued, and have meaning in life. As you come across this page, I just want you to know that you have a purpose, you are important, and you are loved. We are created for relationships. We are holistic beings so how we nourish our minds, hearts, spirits, and bodies all impact each other. Making root changes in our thought patterns, beliefs that develop over time from our experiences, managing our emotions, and making healthy choices is a process. Growth doesn't happen in our comfort zone, does it? For those that know me, I view life as an adventure and one that we have the opportunity to live fully. Thank you for taking the time to read and God bless you wherever you are at in your journey:)
